Friday started with check in with the greeters, updating information in the master roster, viewing the raffles, dropping off of silent auction items, and greeting friends on the front porch. | ![]() |

There were 123 people at the Friday night social hour and buffet. They all enjoyed the entertainment that consisted of dancing to the favorites from days gone past sung by the very talented vocalist Ray Shaw. | ![]() |

Part of the fun on Friday night is the singing of the song Elvira by the NAS Atlanta barbershop group. |
| Saturday started with a complimentary continental breakfast in the Straiton Room beginning at 0700 hours. The golfers, lead by Harry Thigpen, left early for a round at the Mill Creek Golf Course in Franklin, NC. |

Wayne Barron rounded up the fishing group for a trip to Andy's Trout Farm.
After the business meeting the Saturday night banquet
was provided in the James room. The commanding officer of NAS Atlanta
presented a briefing of the status of the closure proceedings. This was
followed by the raffle drawings and awarding of the door prizes. |

Note: A new reserved seating plan was put into effect that allowed everyone to pick the table at which they would sit both nights during registration. We believe that this method worked well and we would like to hear from you if you think we should use the same method next year. |
